🕵️‍♂️The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes🕵️‍♂️

  • My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Yes, the classic of the mystery, Sherlock Holmes! This book gives you a peep into some of the most peculiar, cryptic cases solved by Sherlock Holmes through the perspective of his beloved companion, Watson.

Reading Sherlock Holmes' cases feels like waiting for your favorite sushi dish on a conveyor belt. Waiting for Holmes' conclusion that will satisfy my rising fumes of curiosity made it hard for me to put down the book and that anticipation was unbearably tingling!

Out of the heaps of all the things that I like about Sherlock Holmes, one thing is that he always seems to look for details and background stories that come to me as unnecessary and unrelated to the case in every way possible. And his behavior is not an exception when it comes to strangeness as well. But when you get to the end of each case, it feels like a blindfold has been removed from your eyes! And I think that's what's so addicting about Sherlock Holmes's cases. Until the ending part, I can't help but grow frustrated and bored with all these enigmatic guesses and details, but when I get to the end, I realize that Sherlock Holmes was way too ahead of me that I couldn't follow his train of thoughts and where it was all leading up to -- and knowing the truth feels like finally encountering my favorite sushi on the conveyor belt after forever-like waiting.

Have you ever read any of the Sherlock Holmes series before? If so, then please let me know your favorite case so that I can read it! 💗
