My book recommendation for Valentine’s day is this book, “Redeeming Love” by Frances Rivers. It’s probably one of the most heartwarming, romantic books that I’ve ever read.

I swear, those trendy romance books that you can commonly find in a bookstore probably cannot compete to the this book..

The story takes time in 1850 when it was common for women to sell their bodies to make money and men would simply use them to feel pleasure.

Our main character, Angel was sold as a prostitute when she was only a young child. She suffers from trauma that is ungraspably deep. Ever since she was young, she learned to build thick walls between people when it comes to developing relationships and shutting down her emotions and heart—so she is used to being aloof and insolent.

But then comes Michael Hosea, who suddenly decides to marry Angel. He seeks to show what love truly is and heal her wounds with his unconditional love and softness without any physical relationships.

Never having experienced such environment and complex emotions, she runs away from him. But knowing how hurt Angel is behind her indolent face and determined to see the soft side of her that has been hidden ever since her childhood, Michael fights against the wall she built between them.

You will be able to read the most romantic sentences from Michael.. The way author writes is just indescribably outstanding.

By the way, this book also contains Christian contents, so if you are a Christian, go ahead and read this!!

Also when reading this book, just brace yourself, otherwise your heart will melt away..🍃🌹
