I must mention “call me by your name”!! I feel like before i read this, my impression of this book was one of those romance that contains summer taste with a bit of ✨italian✨sprinkles on top.. i just didn’t really think much about this because people always seemed to talk about these two elements above and nothing else!! But i’m so sad that these elements seem to hide what a masterpiece this is just by the story itself. The way author writes is very relatable and nothing like i have ever read before. Sometimes, the sentences would just never end and it was my first time experiencing such type of writing. This was a very fresh touch because it actually felt like Elio was talking to me. (You know when you’re emotional and you have to talk, so you don’t really end the sentences but continue on and on..) No one is that eloquent when speaking about emotional matters as it is typically described in book. But this book definitely was outstanding in how well it expressed that brimming emotions by flowing language and somewhat disorganized, informal way of expressing emotions. Absolute 5 out of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I enjoyed “before the coffee gets cold” very much because it was such a heartwarming, touching piece. So i anticipated that this “before your memory fades” would be good as well. But it was pretty disappointing in my opinion. The cliche of the frail women with soft yet strong hearts was especially repetitive in this book. There were at least three women who had this type of characteristic.. and the whole plot kept getting repetitive and predictable. Maybe this would be a good book for young children. 3 out of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️.

QOTD: Who is the most admirable character you met in the book? 🏹
